Our Purpose
Morningstar Solutions IQ's purpose is to create opportunities for Indigenous people and communities to participate fully in Canada's reconciliation journey through the digital economy and technology sector.
The digital economy is one of the fastest-growing segments of Canada's economy, expanding more quickly than most traditional industries and outpacing overall economic growth. It is transforming how people work, learn, and connect, creating opportunities that will shape Canada's future for decades to come.
For Indigenous peoples and communities, participation in the digital economy is about more than economics. Participation strengthens governance, education, healthcare, and data sovereignty while advancing self-determination, reconciliation, and long-term community success.
Yet Indigenous people remain vastly underrepresented in this sector. Our purpose is to change this. Through programs such as InTuition scholarships, Indigenous internships, employment opportunities, and awareness initiatives, we help build lasting capacity, foster cultural alignment in the corporate sector, and create meaningful outcomes for Indigenous and non-Indigenous people.
